Baby Face! You’ve Got the Cutest Little Baby Face
3D/4D ultrasound session offer expectant parents the ultimate baby shower gift, a take-home image of their unborn baby inside the womb
AUSTIN, Texas – With thousands of moms-to-be flocking to see images of their unborn baby yawning, smiling, blinking and waving, it’s no wonder that 3D/4D prenatal images are rapidly becoming a trendy baby shower gift.
For about the same cost of a stroller or bassinet, family members and friends can bestow a gift certificate to expectant parents to view miraculous images of their unborn baby.
“This priceless experience deepens the emotional bonding between parents and their unborn child moving inside her womb,” said Kathy Dimmick, co-founder and CEO of United Imaging Partners, the largest and fastest growing group of 3D/4D ultrasound providers in the United States with more than 80 locations nationwide.
3D/4D ultrasounds are seen as positive experiences for the entire family. Expectant moms are encouraged to bring family members and friends to the ultrasound screening room to share in this experience. This personalized session which can last up to 20 minutes is recorded in color and real-time motion on a CD or DVD, set to lullaby music.
With the state-of-the-art GE Voluson 730 PRO Ultrasound machine, activities of the baby inside the womb can be seen clearly, which usually is difficult or impossible to identify on 2D scanning.
Research shows that 3D and 4D ultrasounds scans are safe for the mother and the fetus.
Only mothers that bring a written order from their healthcare provider are eligible to receive an elective ultrasound from any of United Imaging Partners certified locations. The scans are performed from 18-38 weeks, though the optimum time is between 24-34 weeks.
“Our customers are so moved by the ultrasound experience. Many parents leave the session more excited about the pending birth,” said Dimmick, who co-founded United Imaging Partners with her husband Curt and is the mother of a one-year old and three- year old. “The first time you see your baby’s face, it really is a miracle.
